Hello and welcome to Panasonic.

We’ve created the “Careers” section in this website for the main purpose of helping you to gain a better understanding of who and what we are and at the same time to assist you to make a career decision for an interesting and rewarding journey of personal discovery with Panasonic.

To start, let me quote from Mr. Konosuke Matsushita, founder of Panasonic Corporation, the parent company of Panasonic. He wrote: “For me as an entrepreneur, the primary duty, or mission, of management lies in satisfying the human instinct for improving the quality of life.”

Herein lies the bedrock of our organisation's being – we have been guided by it to improve the quality of life of the buyers and users of our products and services as well as the life of our employees who are gainfully employed in Panasonic. In Asia Region, Panasonic has more than 80,000 employees and globally 292,250* employees working in more than 540 companies throughout the world.

In many countries around the world Panasonic has proved to be a dynamic and effective springboard to launch different careers for our employees, including mine. My journey of discovery has been very satisfying – it has broaden my perspective, horizon and given much meaning to my many endeavours in the organisations and countries that I have worked and lived before. With the Management direction to rekindle ‘Shining Asia’ and revive the emerging markets in our region, we strive to achieve successful growth in the high potential markets despite the current global economic crisis. To achieve the target, we seek motivated individuals with global perspectives, specialised skills, and who share the same vision of enriching human life through innovative technology to join us.
