The Panasonic Sports Centre is the country's latest, most advanced, privately owned sports complex. This multi-million ringgit Sports Centre was built to enhance the welfare and general well-being of Panasonic's employees through sports.

The 'Open' design concept means that there is a separation between the main roof and the facility itself. For example, the gymnasium, without being enclosed, receives ventilation and cooling without having to resort to air conditioning. This saves energy and cost. Other advantages of this 'open-concept' are the use of natural light and elimination of sound reflection due to the open air location.

As one of the world's leading high technology companies, it was natural for Panasonic companies to opt for a 'hi-tech' Malaysian identity in the look of the Sport Centre. This is reflected by the modern roof which covers the whole gymnasium. It is built with light tension pipe with no big truss as main beam. Even the main support column for the roof is a powerful expression of the 'high-tech' design of the sports centre.

Main Activities:

Panasonic Sports Carnival is a yearly sporting event organised by Panasonic Human Resource Management Group for all Panasonic employees in Malaysia. Panasonic Closed Championship is a game tournament such as Futsal, Badminton, Soccer, etc for Panasonic employees in Klang Valley only.
