| 1993.Autumn | Horse-riding
therapy system development started After Professor Kimura of Nippon Medical School (the chief orthopedic surgeon at the National Rehabilitation Center for the Disabled) observed the horse-riding therapy in a study tour in Europe about 15 years ago, he came up with an idea to apply the therapy in Japan as well. Due to insufficient riding fields and unpopular horse-riding exercises in Japan at that time, he suggested to apply horse-riding therapy with the use of a machine. During a visit at the showroom of Matsushita Electric Works, Ltd., Professor Kimura saw the virtual reality system and enquired whether horse-rising therapy with machinery using virtual therapy technology was possible. |
| 1995.4- | Horse-shaped
robot with 6 legs prototype The complicated movements of a saddle were analyzed for three-dimensional data, and the movement of a horse was successfully categorized into 3 modes, i.e. walking, trotting and cantering. The horse-shaped robot had 6 legs at various length, each with a cylinder, which simulated the movement of a real horse. Bioinstrumentation systems such as an appliance to measure myoelectricity (electric current incurred when muscles of a human body move) was developed and bioinstrumentation experiments were performed. |
| 1998.4- | Joint-universities
research on humans were examined With aid in the form of government-subsidized research from the Ministry of Health and Welfare (currently the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare), working on measurement experiments mainly of muscle strength began jointly with Nippon Medical School, Kochi Medical School and Kochi University of Technology in Japan. |

| 2000.10- | Household-used
JOBA were sold The 2nd generation model demonstrated closely the movements of saddles sliding to both sides, and front and back. The 3rd generation model was produced in more user-friendly size. In the 4th generation model, the seat was improved to become more comfortable. |
| 2003.5 | Various
