At Panasonic, our people have always been our first priority. For years, we’ve been holding on to one of the fundamentals of our management philosophy that we believe has taken us to where we are now; “Make People before Making Products”. This philosophy added with the desire to respond to the Malaysian Government’s policy which stresses on human resource development for the growth of the industrial sector.
For that, Panasonic Group of Companies (PGC) in Malaysia have taken the initiatives to provide the opportunity and the platform for education and training for the staffs, in our hopes to develop and produce holistic individuals who can contribute effectively to the Malaysian society.
Most companies in PGC have Training Departments. These departments are supported and assisted by the Panasonic Human Resource Development Centre (PHRDC), the Panasonic Regional Training Centre (PRTC) in Singapore and the Human Resource Development Co. in Osaka, Japan.
Some of the many trainings and initiatives taken to develop individual’s self-improvement at Panasonic are:
- Offering staffs courses to improve the Middle Management through dissemination of specialized knowledge.
- Providing technical skills and computer training.
- Improving communication power through language training.
